How to Install lzma software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

lzma software package provides Compression and decompression in the LZMA format - command line utility, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install lzma

lzma is installed in your system.

Make ensure the lzma package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lzma *

You will get with lzma package name, version, architecture and description in a table
